Max Justice is a U.S. Marine and U.S. Army soldier with over 25 years of national security, intelligence, analytics, management, and leadership experience supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the National Resonance Office (NRO), the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Energy Information Agency (EIA) within the Department of Energy (DoE), Department of Defense (DoD) and was a government official to help stand up the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Max has a B.Sc in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from DeVry University, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Technology & Innovation Management specializing in Cybersecurity. Max holds certifications as a CISSP, PMP, ITIL v3, Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt, and Blockchain Expert. He has served as a task lead, Deputy Program Manager, and Program Manager on NGA (SEIN, SMARTS, RDAS & ESMARTS), EIA (ITOSM), DIA (PRESS), NRO (Patriot) contracts, and the TSA operational lead of over 3400 people to establish and provide security of all the federalized airports in T.N., AR, LA & M.S. In these roles, Max demonstrated an exceptional ability to acquire, onboard, train, retain, and transition staff in support of the respected organizations. He has a proven track record of focusing on the customer’s mission, responding to client/customer needs, and delivering quality products and services within scope, schedule, and budget. Max is familiar with all areas of a Government Contracting business and was instrumental in capturing over $2.5B in contract awards. As Abile’s Chief Engineer, Max is responsible for leading Abile’s NASA work, the solutions engineering in our response to proposals, and providing strategic inputs for the company’s growth.

In his free time, Max is not only sowing seeds of cybersecurity; he is a gourmet mushroom farmer who believes he will one day put a mycelium-based satellite into space. Max is also a traveler who’s been to all 50 states, lived on three continents (been to 5 of 7), and visited over 100 countries. Additionally, Max is an avid reader, hiker and actively engages in physical fitness. Max lives in West Virginia with his wife.
